If you’re looking for photo booth news in August in Queens, New York, you’ve come to the right place. This month’s headlines cover Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary theme, Innovative FOTO’s participation in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums conference, and New PhotoPass booths at Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World 50th anniversary theme
Air Canada and Walt Disney World are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort with special photo booths at Toronto Pearson International Airport and transborder lounges. The transborder lounges will have Disney-themed activities, oversized travel items, and magical graphics. Plus, you can use your Aeroplan points to purchase Disney merchandise beginning at $100 CAD on the Aeroplan eStore.
Guests will be able to take a photo of their favorite characters or a Disney landmark on the new backdrop. This backdrop will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. The backdrop will be located near Tomorrowland Terrace. Mickey Mouse will be featured on the right side of the board and a special “stand here” sticker will make sure guests capture the entire image. PhotoPass photographers will also be available to capture the memories of this special celebration.
The 50th anniversary celebrations will run until spring 2023 at the Walt Disney World Resort. For this milestone, Disney will bring back some popular attractions from the past. For example, the Enchanted Forest will be back on once a night at Epcot. As for the Magic Kingdom, Enchantment will start at 9PM instead of 9:20PM.
Guests will also be able to enjoy step-in photo opportunities at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. For this event, attendees will also receive an exclusive trick-or-treating tote bag. Additionally, they’ll be able to purchase commemorative print items.
